The Joint Master of Arts in European History, founded in 2012, is a two-year full-time master's programme, divided into 4 semesters.

The European History MA was founded by the UNICA Initiative - Network of Universities from the Capitals of Europe.

It is an interdisciplinary, comparative master's programme offered by a consortium of twelve universities situated in eleven major European capitals.

The Humboldt University Berlin is the coordinating university of this programme.

The Joint MA in European History is particularly suited for students interested in pursuing an internationally mobile career. This diverse programme focuses on comparative analysis of European history. It will help strengthen students' European mobility and knowledge of foreign languages, and it will offer them the opportunity to gain intercultural experiences.
