About
The JMEH is a unique opportunity to study European History in the Capitals of Europe. Students accepted to the programme conduct their studies in up to three of the JMEH partner universities.
Founded in 2012 by the UNICA Initiative, the JMEH is designed as a two-year (4 semesters) full-time master’s programme. Its interdisciplinary and comparative schedule builds on the expertise of a network of historians from twelve universities in eleven European capitals, with Humboldt University Berlin as the coordinating hub.
The JMEH offers students interested in pursuing an international career the opportunity to engage with a comparative analysis of European history. By strengthening students' mobility, the programme deepens their knowledge of foreign languages and provides them with the opportunity to gain intercultural experiences while communicating forefront research findings and innovative research methods.
