Teaching European History in the 21st Century (TEH21) is a transnational project that was established in 2019. It brings together experts from all over Europe that specialize in the various fields of European history as well as in the development of innovative teaching materials and innovative didactic methods. It is funded by the European Commission under the Erasmus+ Key Action 2 (Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices). In the context of this Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership project all project partners – from seven different leading Universities from all over Europe – work together to enable higher education institutions to improve and internationalize their curriculum. Scholars from Germany, Spain, Czech Republic, Hungary, the United Kingdom, France, and the Netherlands collaborate in the development of English-language teaching material for courses in early modern, modern and contemporary European History.
