Allocation of remaining spots
Can I still apply after the application deadline in January?
In principle, yes: those applying after the deadline will be considered on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. As soon as one or more places are available, we will inform the relevant applicants.
Please note the following:
For applicants who apply and are accepted after the deadline, financial support in the form of the Erasmus grant cannot be guaranteed. This requires a new calculation by the finance department of the International Office. Nevertheless, the students concerned can still participate in the Erasmus programme as ‘free movers’ and benefit from the associated advantages (no tuition fees at the partner university, organisational support by HU and the partner university, crediting of study achievements abroad, etc.).
Applicants for remaining places must submit all the documents listed under Application. Here, too, only complete applications can be considered!
If a place is or becomes available and your application can be considered, you will be nominated at the partner university. You will then receive further information about registration there etc. by email from the respective Erasmus office of the university.
